During the annual week-long festival Gerewol, the men of the Wodaabe tribe in Chad prepare for many hours to compete in a beauty contest where they are judged by young women and, if they are lucky, get to marry one of the judges.

Während des jährlichen einwöchigen Festes Gerewol bereiten sich die Männer des Stammes der Wodaabe im Tschad stundenlang auf einen Schönheitswettbewerb vor, bei dem sie von jungen Frauen beurteilt werden und mit etwas Glück eine der Jurorinnen heiraten dürfen.
