When you buy this painting, 15% of the proceeds will be donated to a German charity that has successfully supported the education of Tanzanian children for more than 30 years. Poverty in Africa is still widespread. Let us remember that there is always hope for and with the next generation.

From the Tanzania Series

In this series, the artist paints portraits of people from Tanzania, a country to which she feels very connected through personal experiences and friendships she has found there. The children from the series “Schoolchildren in Tanzania” are students of the Msasani Primary School in Dar es Salaam. They are all hearing impaired or deaf and some of them live with additional physical or mental disabilities. Seona donates from each sale of the Tanzania paintings to the association Tansania AG des Friedrichs-Gymnasiums Herford e.V., which helps children in Tanzania to finance their school education. Several children from Msasani Primary School are among the beneficiaries. Since 2021, Seona has been working with the young photographer CK from Dar es Salaam so that she can continue her project from Germany.

Beim Kauf dieses Ölbildes werden 15% des Erlöses an eine deutsche Wohltätigkeitsorganisation gespendet, die seit mehr als 30 Jahren erfolgreich die Ausbildung tansanischer Kinder unterstützt. Die Armut in Afrika ist immer noch weit verbreitet. Lass uns daran denken, dass es immer Hoffnung für und mit der nächsten Generation gibt!

Aus der Werkreihe: Tansania

In dieser Serie malt die Künstlerin Porträts von Menschen aus Tansania, einem Land, dem sie sich durch persönliche Erfahrungen und Freundschaften, die sie dort gefunden hat, sehr verbunden fühlt. Die Kinder aus der Serie “Schoolchildren in Tanzania” sind Schüler*innen der Msasani Primary School in Dar es Salaam. Sie sind alle hörgeschädigt oder taub und einige von ihnen leben mit zusätzlichen körperlichen oder geistigen Behinderungen. Seona spendet von jedem Verkauf der Tansania-Gemälde an den Verein Tansania AG des Friedrichs-Gymnasiums Herford e.V., der Kindern in Tansania dabei hilft, ihre Schulausbildung zu finanzieren. Mehrere Kinder der Msasani Primary School gehören zu den Begünstigten. Seit 2021 arbeitet Seona mit dem jungen Fotografen CK aus Dar es Salaam zusammen, damit sie ihr Projekt auch von Deutschland aus weiterführen kann.
